Women's health campaigners discuss priorities ahead of International Women’s Day 2023

Ahead of International Women’s Day on Wednesday 8 March, TV presenter and women’s health campaigner Davina McCall, who is an Ambassador of Wellbeing of Women, was joined by other high-profile advocates to talk about the two inevitabilities in a woman’s life: menstruation and the menopause.

Discussing the importance of prioritising women’s health to benefit women and girls at school, in the workplace, and across society as a whole, other top speakers and women’s health advocates were journalist Mariella Frostrup, Severn Trent CEO Liv Garfield, Channel 4 CEO Alex Mahon, and Olympic champion Dame Jessica Ennis-Hill.

Moderated by WoW Chair, Professor Dame Lesley Regan, who is the first government appointed Women’s Health Ambassador for England.

The theme for International Women’s Day 2023 is #EmbraceEquity.
