This Virtual Coffee Hour focuses on how to deal with stress in both graduate school and these difficult times. Crystal Loup was our guest speaker for the hour. Crystal Loup, M.Ed., PLPC is a Wellness Coordinator in the Office of Wellness and Health Promotion in the LSU Student Health Center. She works primarily in The Lighthouse Program, LSU’s sexual and interpersonal violence prevention, support, and advocacy program. She assists with developing and presenting the campus-wide bystander intervention training, Tiger BITes, to LSU students. She additionally offers general wellness coaching, conducts HIV testing in partnership with the Louisiana Office of Public Health, and facilitates educational programming throughout LSU’s campus.
Prior to joining the Student Health Center in 2019, Crystal received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from LSU. She also provided individual, group, couples, and family counseling at St. Christopher’s Addiction Wellness Center (STC). She continues to work part-time as a counselor for STC, facilitating group therapy for an intensive outpatient program, and individual therapy for clients in aftercare. Crystal is passionate about supporting people as they navigate life’s challenges.
