Good, solid strength sess! I really like Lat Pulldowns too! My lower back did try to help with Side Raises, as u warned; I adjusted, tucked my bum a bit, tried to figure out how to keep it in the side butt only. Any tips? Great workout!

Whew !!! i did this workout a month ago, and I gave to admit I did MUCH better that time. Those drinky birds were tough, not much balance today. Sooo, I just substituted, but still held my weights!!!!!
Still a bit sore in the shoulder complex so had to modify the lat pull downs, otherwise this was just the right amount of moderate challenge for me. Thank, Pahla!

My leg semi-circles felt like they were being drawn by a drunk chicken (wobbly doesnβt begin to describe them, lol!)

The height of your lift in the side raise is determined by the structure of your hip ball and socket joint. This is why ballet dancers "turn out" with their knees and feet facing outward. It allows a shift in the joint allowing them to get their leg much higher. So don't feel bad about a low side raise if you are keeping your knee/foot facing forward. π
Iβm in my 30βs but I absolutely love your strength training sessions. This one was great as usual.

I'm working thru the different workout plans in between your 5 Pounds down series. doing other workouts between each new week of new workouts. I did the Walk Off The Weight series and now I am doing February. so, long story short…. I just loved this workout! I loved the exercises in each of the mini-circuits and just felt so strong after the workout! And, yes, I am a bit sore after yesterday's functional fitness workout! But, not too much sore and it felt good too. also had to laugh because I had to curl up to get under my desk to reach my lighter dumbbells and thought about the functional fitness I practiced yesterday! Thank you, Pahla!
Day 6 complete. On to the day. Have a happy Father's Day. I miss mine.
