Setting Up the Penguin Comparing Sets Clip Cards Free Printable

Supplies Needed:

  • Penguin Clip Cards and recording sheet (button to get them at the bottom of this post)
  • Clothespins, clips, or paperclips
  • Scissors

Directions:

  1. Print the cards. There are 4 cards per page.
  2. Laminate the cards.
  3. Cut the cards apart.
  4. Slide the cards and clothespins or clips into a baggie or tray for easy storage and grab-and-go access.

How to Play

Students will pick a card. Then, they will count the number of penguins on the ice chunk. They will use a clip to mark the picture that has more penguins. Next, they will circle the corresponding picture on the recording sheet to show you the correct answer. They will continue until all the cards have been completed.

This math activity is simple for students to use on their own, making it an excellent resource for math centers or independent learning time!
