Dr. Paula Johnson is an internationally recognized women’s health specialist and a pioneer in the treatment and prevention of cardiovascular disease. She is head of the Connors Center for Women’s Health and Gender Biology and chief of the Division of Women’s Health at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. She has been named one of Boston’s “Top Doctors” by Boston Magazine and was featured in the Boston Globe’s “IDEAS Boston 2005” as one of twenty-four leading innovators in Massachusetts. Dr. Johnson serves as Commissioner and chair of the Board of the Boston Public Health Commission, and is a member of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Advisory Committee on Research on Women’s Health.
