  1. I played this song in rotation on my first commercial DJ gig, overnights on WFLB AM, Fayetteville, NC. Prior to that, had only heard the name Jefferson Airplane from a young woman I fancied during Adelphi University undergrad days. It came to mind this morning as I awakened…still SO sweet!

  2. Oh, wow, this song touches my soul & every time I hear it, beautiful memories overtake my heart. What great music, singing, lyrics….The whole SHABANG! God, we were so lucky 🍀

  3. A while back I was searching for a song I knew I had listened to as a kid when my parents would play it. I couldn't for the life of me figure out what the song was. Finally I found out it was Runaway, off of the same album. But when I listened to all the songs, I heard this one which I hadn't remembered since I was probably 5 years old. As soon as it started playing the memories came flowing back.. Turns out my parents used to rock me to sleep in their arms listening to it. I know its a romantic song, but to me when I hear it I just think of my parents and the great love they have for me and my sisters. They let it be known that no matter what life brought, we could always count on their love. I am grateful to still have them both around, I am grateful for my life, and I am grateful for this song. When the tears come, I don't try to hide them. I cry for the beautiful fact that out of all possible outcomes, this is the life I was given. I won't waste a second.

  4. Reminds me of the Pizza Pub at Luke AFB in Az. My co worker and I would go there for lunch. It was my first summer job. This song playing on the jukebox. Nice memorie.
