  1. I've seen this video and one or both of those earlier videos you mentioned. I have several issues that I'd like to playfully consider about your analysis in that maybe these Keto folks never exercised, perhaps they ingested alcohol and/or smoked tobacco, or perhaps bad genetics and bad environmental development didn't help (nature versus nurture), maybe they had various medical conditions that would have killed them sooner rather than later, maybe because the science and medicine of the day did its best but wasn't nearly good enough to extend the life of these people, and maybe it was just bad luck. I am by no means making excuses for a bad diet or a lack of exercise or a host of other contributing factors that ended their lives sooner than could have been otherwise achieved through a vegan diet, but there are lots of people who are not vegetarians and live to be well into their 100s. George Burns who famously smoked cigars daily and Bob Hope are two of my favorite examples of this. Sure, I feel certain to say that consuming a healthy amount of broccoli per day is better than a cigarette or a glass of wine per day, but despite their apparent "bad nutrition advice," just being the Devil's advocate here to say that maybe there are more than a few contributing factors to why these "gurus" died younger than they could have.

  2. Keep shooting your big mouth off. Do you what these men died of? NO you don't. But keep it up, you could be dead tomorrow.

  3. I didn't hear you scream a list of vegan deaths but, they haven't been vegan long enough, have they. Still in a few more years you might be able to start shouting their names off as well. Of course you'll probable say, (but they started out eating meat" so it doesn't count)

  4. Yes, you were trying to find weaknesses in their studies. You're all for the vegans and you know it. If you were not so one eyed you'd see the good side of the keto and low carb diet. It's a good healthy meat and vegetable diet your parents brought you up on if they did the right thing by you.

  5. If you believe animals are risky to eat you live without them. I'll live with the animals that have kept us alive for millions of years.
The last thing was margarines tried to replace butter it turned out they were toxic and next will be factory made meat. Well that will be the next disaster. If something comes out of a factory there's always a downside. There's always toxins spilled out of the back that ends up in the rivers and oceans. Just wait and see.
Put the animals back on the land where they belong, they're the only things that can recreate the soil. We're losing it fast and it will soon disappear unless we do something soon.

  6. I really enjoyed this, thank you! I have tried the more animal-based keto approach and ended up with deficiencies and injuries and I could FEEL it aging me. I could also see it, every time I looked in the mirror, with the bags that and lines that suddenly showed up under my eyes. That's why I'm trying a more plant-based Flexitarian approach, with 1-2 servings of eggs, meat, and cheese, per day. (for the purposes of vanity, of course ;p who cares how long I live, as long as I look good! j/k). The rest is low-carb veggies, fruits, nuts, seeds, soybeans, etc. BTW, two things that I've found really hard to get enough of on the low-carb diet are potassium and silica. Both are very important for cardiovascular health. I wonder if the lack of them has contributed to these unfortunate early deaths? And if you look at the people touting low-carb and keto diets, these days…most of them are super young! What do they know or care about longevity or even disease? I'm in my mid-40's and I already have a number of things that I'm trying to heal from (spinal injury, insulin resistance, etc.). So, I really get this. Anyway, thanks again!

  7. In my opinion. A carb is not essential nor is it needed by the human body. So my vote is yes. But I think sugar is the problem as it's in absolutely everything. One can't possibly think sugar is good for you in any way shape or form.

  8. I've eaten meat and veggies for awhile and yesterday went vegan. I need carbs .. I'm working on curing my diabetes and you need to poop often to get parasites out.

  9. Does anyone remember Gayelord Hauser? My mom was obsessed with him in the 60s. Whole foods, but…. he also promoted lots of animal protein, like liver….. um……..what happened to him?

  10. This video is dumb. It doesn't talk about the diets, it talks about smoking half the time and then processed 'keto' foods while there 1000's more in quantity of processed vegan foods. It doesn't go deaper into the deaths of the low carb influencers or focus on the number of deaths of vegan/vegetarian influencers. It doesn't look at quality of food at all which is a big thing from Chris Kresser.

So basically this video said 'nothing to see here just propaganda'.

  11. but does low carb mean meat eaters carnivores, only? what about low carb veggie or vegan? what is the difference. what if it's low carb temporarily just to loose weight?
