Embark with us on this unique meditation course enhanced with poems by the talented poet Harpreet M Dayal, whose authentic verses are renowned for speaking directly to your heart!

In each session, she will share one of her uplifting poems about hope, life, and love. To truly embrace the meaning of her words, Peter will follow up with a gentle guided meditation. The special message within her poems will become your direct experience, soothing, inspiring, and nourishing your whole being.

Each meditation will be enhanced with the ‘practice of presence guidance’ enriched with mindfulness elements so you can embody the meditation practice and effectively develop your meditation skills.

SESSIONS STRUCTURE

In each session, you will discover a new inspiring poem presented by Harpreet. To let the poem’s message fully unfold within you, Peter will follow up and gently guide you into a relaxed and soothing meditation space where you can feel completely relaxed, nourished and at peace.

Taking the poem in from this unique space allows its layers to fully nourish and inspire you, directly connecting the meaning to your inner being, essential needs, and authenticity.

The deeper part of each meditation guidance will be the ‘practice of presence’ approach with mindfulness elements to support you in embodying an effective meditation practice.

ABOUT MEDITATION

Meditation is a gateway to your unique Self, the still and peaceful centre in the hurricane of the relentless stream of thoughts and stories. This core of your Being is the natural source of your inner peace, wisdom, energy, creativity and joy which is your authentic nature. Within the meditation guidance, Peter will be using his approach called the “Practice of Presence’ which connects essential mindfulness techniques and teaches the ability to relax and be grounded at any time during your daily life.

MEDITATION & POETRY COMBINED

While listening or reading poetry, we are shifting our attention from just reading words (thinking about them) to an openness of the higher meaning of the message. The mind becomes calmer and we are creating a space within us for profound insights and meaning to arise. With poems, the world of symbols and imagery opens within us and connects us to our deeper and more authentic wisdom.

Meditation then enhances this unique ‘space beyond’ and helps us to embrace it fully on a holistic level (mind, body, spirit, emotions).Through the harmonious combination of poetry and the meditative space, we can connect with the real jewels of our authentic wisdom . Then the practice becomes a rich nourishment and ‘food for our soul’.

SESSION THEMES

Each session will start with Harpreet presenting one of her soothing mantras/poems. The session will continue with a thematic guided meditation by Peter to guide you to a space of deep and relaxed presence.

Letting go & Heart Space: gently release the past

Balance: re-establish balance to create foundations you can build on

PRACTICALITIES

To fully enjoy this event, we recommend to prepare for each session:

a comfortable quiet space: “create your nest”: prepare cushions and blankets so you feel comfortable, maybe dim the lights and light some candles, light your favorite incense, play gentle calming music. Wear comfortable clothes.

Harpreet M Dayal

I’m a storyteller, bringing hope through words. I say words on stage sometimes too, but not as often as I should. I’m attracted to authenticity, to the light in others, to open hearts. I find joy in baking and singing with my husband on long car rides. I like sleeping in the sun, crying to sad songs, and hosting my loved ones. I’m stepping into myself, learning to unlearn feelings of inadequacy, self-doubt, and narratives that don’t serve me. I’m evolving and embracing my journey of servitude through heart work.

Peter is an experienced spiritual guide with 40 years of experience in self-discovery and spiritual guidance. He divides his time hosting Meditation and Self Awareness Retreats and Workshops in Europe and creating Guided Meditation and Conscious Music recordings.

Peter is the founder of The Drunken Monk project connecting spirituality with daily life, using tools such as guided meditation recordings, Enlightenment Intensive process, Self Awareness retreats, and workshops.
