  1. It is hard to find a good lecture that covers mood and hormones. This is perfect. So comprehensive and insightful. Thank you for making this and sharing it!!!

  2. Serotonin causes anxiety? TOO little serotonin causes anxiety and mood disorders. The only way that can happen is a rare condition named serotonin syndrome, by too much antidepressants or combination of medications and substances.

  3. Videos like this have saved my life i live in a country with great healthcare plans very cheap. But unfortunately its very outdated they hardly ever check someone for hormone problems with mental problems. I had severe debilitating mental problems on paper you would say that it was pretty bad bipolar turns out after refusing to take mental health drugs numerous times and waiting for the hospital endocrinologist to have time for me after 3 months that my Estrogen was borderline high so high that the doctors retested me 3 times my SHBG was really high as well to this day the doctor's dont know what caused it. I never used steroids and was always relatively fit untill one day my well being just went completely down the drain. They tried seeing if my liver was working well and to see if i have a tumor. Nothing was found. So they decided to give me a harsh medicine that kills off Estrogen it was horrible i felt like a 90 year old man simply bending my knees would hurt. I stopped taking it on doctors advice and my hormones balanced itself way better this time. My SHBG was still too high and free Testosterone too low. They gave me Testosterone Sustanon once every 3 weeks… way too far out after many many arguments i got the approval to take 125mg every week instead of 250 every 3 weeks. Hormones scared me so so much and really made me wonder, how many people with severe mental problems actually have hormone problems? Probably a lot. Since i felt seriously crazy at times i can imagine if someone with low self control had the same issues terrible stuff would happen.

  4. Do you have a video that discusses the right ratio of hormone balances. If you have a client that is showing low normal on everything (female-Post menopausal) how would you treat without disrupting the balance?

  5. This info is golden! It would be awesome to hear about the role of progesterone in men too though. I was nearly crippled a few months ago and trt did nothing for me except for horrible sides. I was then introduced to progesterone by a bodybuilder and voilá, fast forward four months and I was squatting heavy like in my youth, riding my bicycle aggresively again at the mountains, became able to tie my shoes again and basically resumed my everyday life pain free.
