The fertile window is not easy to determine exactly, even if the length of the menstrual cycle is regular. This makes it difficult to pin-point the fertile days and assess the risk of becoming pregnant. As a consequence, it is always — during the entire cycle –absolutely necessary to use contraceptives in order to make sure sexual intercourse does not lead to unintended pregnancy.

  1. The one thing this video doesn't do is actually tell us how Emergency Contraception works. The mode of action, if anything, was a stop sign? That an unfortunate ending to the film.

  2. The video doesn't mention anything about anti-implementation mechanism of emergency contraception and any hormonal pills and IUD as well:  Many fertility experts (including doctors) are concerned about the fact that women often are not informed that the birth control pill can cause an chemical abortion as well as prevent pregnancy.

Despite the hormones’ ability to prevent the release of eggs, sometimes a “breakthrough ovulation” takes place.

A woman can still conceive a baby (embryo), who because of synthetic hormones cannot attach to the uterine lining and is aborted. The pill’s third mechanism is to change the lining of the endometrium, which creates a hostile environment for a newly created human life.

The similar and even worse mechanism works in case of IUDs (coils), like Mirena, where one of the mechanisms incorporates a physical intrusion to prevent implantation of already conceived baby (embryo).
