  1. This was great, I been tryin to find out about "medicine for insulin resistance" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you heard people talk about – Panadison Substratal Preponderance – (should be on google have a look ) ? It is a great one off guide for discovering how to reversing insulin resistance and diabetes without the hard work. Ive heard some great things about it and my colleague got amazing results with it.

  2. 26:30 The attempt to rationalize use of a one-size-fits-all glucose dose regardless of patient size was very weak.

A better more truthful answer would have been something like:

Yes, ideally we would adjust the glucose dose based on the body weight (or possibly the estimated optimal body weight) of the patient.

Unfortunately no one has spent the time and money necessary to validate this approach, so we're stuck using the dumbed down method with a fixed glucose dose.

Even if we did have the validation data, we'd have logistical issues with getting the patients to take the correct dosage. We'd either have to stock and handle 10 different sizes of glucose drinks, or send out one large one and then rely on the patient to properly measure the correct dosage for his size, which would introduce uncertainty of its own.

Our sub-optimal approach probably skews the results for people that are significantly smaller or larger than average, but it's the best we can manage for now.

  3. Regarding the slide at 40:20, I think you cited the wrong paper.

I looked up the study Mitochondrial Factors in the Pathogenesis of Diabetes: A Hypothesis for Treatment and found it PDF form.

I did so because I was curious about the weight loss of 7.1% body fat and how it was supposed to be interpreted (i.e. as 7.1% of total body weight or as 7.1% of body fat)

I searched the PDF for "7.1" and did not find it. I searched for "weight" and found only one instance of it in the references section. To be safe I also searched for "mass" and found one instance of it, but it clearly wasn't the source for point you made on the slide.

  4. God bless now and always Dr Igudia. And I really wanted to say a very big thanks for helping me cure my Type 2 Diabetes I thought it was the end until I meant you keep saving lives doctor.

  5. My fasting insulin is 10, fasting glucose is 4.5 and Hba1c 4.9%. I have subclinical Hashimoto’s and Androgenetic alopecia. I think my two issues are due to insulin resistance. I think fasting insulin should be <6 and some naturopaths think the same. Do you also test for HOMA-IR via lab (rather than calculation)

  6. Reverse insulin and stop facial hair growth with the use of herbal cleanser, Got rid of hirsutism permanently with the help of Doctor Isibor😊😊😊
