In a world where you can be anything,

Be the change you wish to bring.

When you don’t know what to say,

Listen to the world, stop and pray.

The streets are crying colors of red,

over all the innocent blood that has shed.

Climb the tallest mountain, stairs to a skyscraper city,

Up in the clouds, hate rings and cries for pity.

Swim the deepest trenches of the ocean, minorities are drown, forgotten words spoken.

Deserts and jungles, animal communities,

Watering hole sanctuary, yet no human unity?

We all deserve equality and shelter from the storms,

instead of running against the jungle, darkness closing, swarms.

Hold out your hand and shake my own, colors blending in the mix,

Skin to skin we will mesh the world to shield from racist bricks.

You know nothing of my hurt and cannot fathom what it’s like,

But you can be a voice of reason in a room on strike.

Together we can use our peace to crush and destroy,

Thank you, my friend, dear white boy.
