Autism ArtSong: Wednesday, April 28, at 7 PM PST for a Concert Inspired by Poetry from Art of Autism Poets


The Artsong project is a wonderful project about autism, music, poetry and the power of collaborative projects.

The Art of Autism is pleased to announce a free virtual concert from the Dr. Wayne S. Hertz Concert Hall at Central Washington University. The concert will be about 50 minutes in length. Direct link to the concert here.

Please join us on Wednesday, April 28 at 7 PM for a free concert. The original musical compositions were inspired by poets on the Art of Autism website.

Directed by Dr. Yerin Kim, newly appointed piano professor at CWU, 6 original Artsongs for piano and voice were composed to poems by 6 autistic individuals which will be performed by CWU pianists and vocalists. It is a collaboration project between the composition, voice, piano department of CWU, and poets from “The Art of Autism”, a non-profit organization that works with talents individuals in the autism spectrum and others who are neurodivergent.
