In this episode I am interviewed by my friend Bianca Taylor to discuss how twerking (which really is just a modern term for a traditional African dance move)+ belly dancing (which is also a modern term the colonizers placed over Middle Eastern dance forms) are also forgotten forms of the sacred feminine path to spirituality.
We dive into how embodiment can somatically heal, and our own journeys that led us to these practices.
We also talk about getting off birth control + it’s unexpected side effects, tuning into your dharma, and changing your career to be more in alignment.
This is a jam-packed, juicy episode that will encourage you to break out of the rigid box we are taught to stay in as spiritual beings. I hope you are empowered to embody your fullest expression after tuning into this transmission.

I LITERALLY made a post about this an hour ago, wooooow…. Aligned!!! 🔥💚🔥
Sisters, you are awesome!!!! You were just giving words to the thoughts have been flowing in me for well, forever, but with a strong intensity this year! It was a joy listening to you. Thank you for the breathtakingly beautiful conversation – and the beautiful points you brought up and the anecdotes from around the world to learn from and ponder on.
Absolutely love this talk
Yasssssss kween!!! LOVE this talk. Just shared it with my clients who were literally sharing last night about how they felt disembodied in their spirituality (bc of old paradigm Christianity from their childhood). So excited that you're championing this – I really think it's the future of not only spirituality but also trauma healing!
Love this episode so much❤️❤️Thank you!
This is trash
As always great podcast! I took Irish dancing as a little girl . Our arms had to be straight at our sides stiff while dancing. Toes turned out stiff. We would be marked down for movement in competitions. Now I don't feel so bad for always getting marked down for swinging my arms . LOL So much love tot you Sahara xoxo
Love this podcast so much ❤️
