can improve your overall health and help you lose weight, switching to a low-fat diet isnโ€™t necessarily a good thing. Processed foods that claim to be โ€œlow-fatโ€ usually contain large amounts of sugar or sugar substitutes to make up the difference in taste. On the other hand, fresh fruits and vegetables are examples of naturally low-fat foods that are good for you.

Which low fat foods you thought were healthy were actually unhealthy? Tell us quickly down below in the comments section!

Calories are calories: Just as you donโ€™t want to judge a book by its cover, donโ€™t judge a food by its calorie content. Try to ditch the calorie counts because the truth is not all calories are created equal. 400 calories of a chocolate cake is not the same as 400 calories of a quinoa, tofu and veggie bowl.

Raw Vegetables Are Healthier: Proponents of a raw food diet preach that food should never be heated above a certain temperature because natural enzymes in โ€œlivingโ€ food are best for the body. As a rule, thatโ€™s silly. Cooking does cause nutrients to degrade in some cases like vitamin C in spinach, but in other cases, it increases the availability of nutrients, like lycopene in tomatoes. The best way to eat veggies is whatever way you like to eat them.

The ideal way to increase weight loss is to minimize fat intake: There are some vitamins, such as vitamins A, D, E, and K, that can only be absorbed with dietary fat. And we need these important vitamins to support everything from vision and immunity, to bone density and heart health.

  1. Many have the misconception that just by exercising they would lose weight and then get the ideal body they want. Plus many have this perception that by consuming supplements they are supposedly going to lose weight which is very wrong. Itโ€™s more of how people perceived this supplements as . Many perceived it works and hence they become conscious about what they eat and hence shed a small amount of weight . But to me supplements can never make u lose weight .

  3. As a dietitian, this video has many mistakes.
    1) there are essential amino acids and essential fats. NOT ONE essential carbohydrate.
    2) The human body can burn fat just fine for energy. One you get your body trained.
    It's called ketosis.
    3) personally, I am doing OMAD, one meal a day. Been doing this for years feel great.
    4) See the YouTube research done by Dr. Ken Berry MD. He debunks the myths of this YouTube stuff. For example, saturated fats are not your enemy. This is based on old outdated information
    5) Why are vegetable oils called this, they are not made of vegetables. They are made of seeds!! They are highly inflammatory!! Loaded with inflammatory omega 6 fatty acids.
These are only a few of the mistakes in this YouTube video
